I have taken a dance class yesterday, end I felt like the worst dancer ever... My extensions were the lowest, my balance was absent, my dancing was weak.....and the worst is that I didn't enjoy the class, moreover I didn't enjoy my dancing.
How many of us felt this way, how many of us got disappointed in our performance in comparison to other dancers? And what do you do when you just tired and not happy with yourself? How do you move ahead?
Today I got up and went again, few bumps here and there, but over all not a bad performance. How do you keep yourself going? How do you protect yourself from ups and downs?
I wish I would wake up every day with great motivation, strength and hope to better myself with each movement. But I don't. I wish I had people around who would encourage and help dancers like me to progress. We need hope, encouragement and love to be better and more beautiful dancers!
